The action heats up at the center of the strip across from Caesars
and the Mirage. Harrah’s $150 million expansion has been completed,
including the addition of a new 700-room, 35-story hotel tower, an
expanded 10,000 square-foot casino area with a completely redesigned
"strip" facade and improved property access. New and upgraded food
outlets include the La Playa Lounge featuring an action-packed
Strip-side location with live entertainment, The Range Steakhouse,
with an entertaining view of the strip, The Garden Cafe, accompanied
by Club Cappuccino, the ground-level Race and Sports Book and the
new restaurant/lounge adjoining the Sports Book: "Winning Streaks".

available. An upgraded pool and expanded pool deck add to your
pleasure. Still, nothing compares to the excitement of Harrah’s
action-packed casino and entertaining Spellbound Revue.
In light of rising energy
costs and the fact that Nevada receives a significant portion of
it’s electrical energy from California, Harrah’s Las Vegas is
imposing a temporary $3 per room per night surcharge, effective
immediately. These charges will be billed directly by the hotel to
the guest’s folio upon departure from Harrah’s. Harrah’s will
continuously monitor energy costs in anticipation of removing this
temporary surcharge when power rates return to more normal levels.
