Not just your typical
aquarium, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is a total sensory experince
designed to transport visitors to an undersea ocean of fantastic
sights and encounters. Featuring 2,000 dangerous and unusual aquatic
animals from the world's tropical waters, Shark Reef takes visitors
on a journey through ancient temple that has been slowly claimed by
the sea. View 100 aquatic species, including 13 different species of
sharks.
Shark Reef is open seven days a week, ticket price varies
and can be purchased at the ticket office of the attraction.
NOTE: The Lazy River and Wave Pool closes down for maintence,
approximately October - April. There is always 1 other pool open
year round, weather permitting. The Bungalow area, pool 2, and
whirlpool will remain open as weather permits.
As a reminder each
and every guest must present a room key to gain access to the pool
area (regardless of age).
Mandalay Palace
Newly opened
in December of 2003, Mandalay Place is a one-of-a-kind retail
experience. Located on a 100,000 square-foot sky bridge connecting
Mandalay Bay and Luxor resorts, it is the first retail center in the
world directly attached to two major casino resorts. Special
skylights and windows highlight skyward views of Mandalay Bay's two
towers and Luxor's pyramid and beam of light. Complimentary valet
parking is available 24 hours a day, everyday. An elegant space
