MGM Grand hotel Las Vegas - Important Notices
Effective immediately the MGM Grand/Bally's monorail will no longer
be in service, due to the expansion of the new 'citywide' monorail
system. The expansion is expected to be completed in March 2004.
Guests of the MGM Grand can now check-in and receive their room keys
while they wait for their luggage. The new satellite
registration/hotel check-in center is located in the south baggage
claim area near the exits from the C and D gates at McCarren Int'l
Airport. The hours of operation are 10 am to midnight, daily. Other
services at the airport registration facility include restaurant
reservations and opportunity to purchase show tickets for either MGM
Grand events and shows.
Customers can also make restaurant reservations at the airport
registration facility, as well as purchase tickets to MGM Grand
events and shows.

MGM Grand hotel Las Vegas - Renovation Information
The Emerald Tower will be under construction from May through
October 2004 (subject to change). Renovations will take place one
floor at a time, with a floor in between out of service as to
minimize noise to guests staying in this tower.
The construction will not interfere with guests staying in either
the Grand or Emerald Towers. Guests will be advised in the event
that construction will cause interruptions in any way.

The Grand Adventures Theme Park is closed permanently to the general
public. This unique space is now used for private functions and
special events, and is called The Park at MGM Grand.

Grand Tower - Deluxe

Guest rooms in the Emerald Tower are 350 sq. feet in size and are
smaller than the Grand Tower rooms.
Emerald Tower rooms are located in the original 'Marina Hotel' which
was constructed in 1975 and refurbished in 1997 and 2001.
The casual warm interiors of the Emerald Tower guest rooms are a
contemporary interpretation of art deco design. The shuttered
windows add to the cheery environment along with custom-designed
furniture and whimsical fabrics. Rooms are accessible by a separate
elevator core or via the main elevators.

Hollywood Theater - An intimate 740-seat theater features revolving
headline entertainers like Tom Jones, Carrot Top, David Copperfield,
and George Carlin. Times vary per show.
La Femme - Direct from the original Crazy Horse in Paris since 1951.
This sensuous and provocative show uses special lighting design and
choreography to showcase the dancers. Must be 21 years or older for
this show. Two shows nightly at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM, dark on
Tuesdays.
Grand Garden Arena - 17,000 seat arena features mega concerts,
boxing matches and special events like the Billboard Music Awards.
The arena has hosted world-class concerts including the Rolling
Stones, Bette Midler, Eric Clapton, Cher, Madonna, and Jimmy Buffett.
Cirque du Soleil - New show to open in Summer 2004.
Studio 54 - A reinvention of the infamous Studio 54 nightclub in New
York with theme nights and a gallery of black and white celebrity
photographs taken in the 70's
Lion Habitat - naturalized showcase for up to six lions daily for
guests to see and watch as the lions interact with them from within
the glass enclosure
